Our Simple Wedding -- October 17, 2009

At 11am we met our local Justice of the Peace at our favorite spot on the Brewster River.
We exchanged our own vows,
and at 11:05am we were married.

Below are pictures that Jan (the JP) took for us.

My dad took pictures of us later on that day...

Baby bump!

Cheese(y)!

We are at 12 weeks and 5 days and I already have a little bump. Guess that means that things are going well and the baby is on track with it's growth.

End of the summer fun

Playing out in the yard just before sundown. The boys have been full of spunk and nonsense and as a way of calming down before bed we have been taking in the fresh, evening, Mtn air. (That and running around the house as many times as they can before they collapse.)

Grasshopper boy Liam

Owen chasing and attempting to catch butterflies in the yard.

Handsome Mike.

Playing in the hole that Mike created. This is a topsoil pile that is off to the side of our property where we have been digging out and hauling soil to help fill our gardens. As you can see it's not all that rich and we have to add a lot of extras to it in order to get plants to grown. But it's better than the sand that is our yard.

Kings of the sand pile.

Liam and Clarence the kitty are the best of friends. This cat is so tolerant and Liam loves to cart him all around the house.

New baby Due in April!!!

We are 11 weeks pregnant today! (Sunday, October 4th)

Below is a picture of our ultrasound that we had a couple of weeks ago at 9 weeks and 4 days.

I outlined the image of the fetus to help the boys understand the picture.

House work and gardens

Our only Lupin. We planted it from a seed this spring and were surprised when it bloomed.

Pink Lady Glad

Mexican flowers. The blooms only last 1 day.

Mums, my personal favorite.

Our small veggie garden. The birdhouse gourd has pretty much taken over.

Morning Glories.

Sunflowers taller than Mike.
(He's so proud)

The stonewall that Mike has been working on all summer long.

Our pint sized white pumpkins.
